As kids, we have no problem just believing- a broken branch is a lightsaber, a bush of flowers next to a street lamp, is a tower in the middle of a forest so overgrown that its impossible to get through. We are one with the world around us, and its natural for us not to fear because we haven't been taught to worry yet. However, as we get older, we become skeptics. Life is simple yet complicated, a branch is now a branch, and that street lamp, yeah well it hasn't lit our street in 2 months and is a constant source of annoyance.
I for one want that feeling back, I want to feel like the world is with me not against me. As cheesy as it is I want to be one with my surroundings again.
That sense of unity can exist, we just have to find it. We've got to go back. I have a feeling that if and when we do, our lives will get better because fear keeps us from living, it prevents us from experiencing and most importantly, it stops us from believing.
